A new chapter in Bahrain's metal scene begins today as Zvindiyar release their debut single Anqa across all major streaming platforms. The track marks the first official release from the Bahraini ambient death metal project and offers the first glimpse of their upcoming debut full-length album.
Drawing on Persian and Arabic mythology, Anqa explores themes of transcendence, inner conflict and rebirth through a blend of crushing death metal, cinematic atmosphere and immersive ambient textures. According to the band, the single represents a fresh beginning:
